Qualification and Costs


WomenCertified Inc. conducts rigorous research to find professionals who provide quality services to their clients. Advisors who are considered for the Women’s Choice Award may be nominated by their firm or peers or otherwise be pre-qualified by Women Certified. There are 17 objective criteria that are considered in evaluating candidates for the award.

Feedback from bi-annual consumer surveys regarding service and practices is gathered to augment the regulatory history review. The basic bi-annual program cost of $595 includes a client survey, and the program cost is reduced to $195 if results are available from an acceptably rigorous third-party client survey that has been completed in the past two years. Advisors who are identified through the process as eligible for the Women’s Choice Award will receive a basic listing for two years on the WomenCertified.com and WIFE.org roster of Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisors at no additional cost.

Because so many advisors want to truly distinguish themselves in the women’s market by showcasing their Women’s Choice Award recognition, we have established an exciting, turn-key enhanced marketing program. The enhanced program, available for an additional $795 annual fee, provides the financial advisor with full licensing and marketing usage rights of the Women’s Choice Award, interactive enhanced online listings at WomenCertified.com and WIFE.org including a landing page profile with photo and link to the advisor’s web site, a press release for distribution, online educational tools about marketing to women, a certificate suitable for framing, and preferred status for referrals and press contacts.

Compliance


The Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisor program has been designed to be in compliance with the requirements of the SEC, FINRA and state regulatory bodies. An advisor who is included on the Women’s Choice Award® Financial Advisor listing may pay an additional fee that provides the advisor with an expanded listing and profile as well as full licensing of the Award for use on their website, marketing materials and advertising. In its No-Action letter issued to the Investment Advisor Association in 2005, the SEC Staff put forth eight factors that should be considered when determining whether any advertisement is a testimonial that is false or misleading.
