The more answers you listed from Column A, the more positive you feel about your financial situation. But even a few answers listed from Column B mean you need to work on improving your financial situation through goal-setting, saving and investing.

List the answers you chose from Column B at the top of a sheet of paper, one sheet for each answer.

On each sheet, write five solutions to the problem, beginning each one with "I could..."

Leave some room between each of your statements.

Now write a statement beneath each of the "I coulds" that begins "I haven't because..."

Then make a list of the things you are willing to do to deal with these problems.

Add to your list over the next week. As you expand your list, you will create your own personalized "To Do" list to put you on the road to financial security.
